Bus Registration Reminder Due April 30th

This is a reminder to register for the school bus for next school year if you haven’t already.  Registration closes on April 30.  Use this link to register:   https://www.sd62.bc.ca/our-district/transportation

Transportation Registration Information

To comply with legislative requirements for maintaining up-to-date bus lists, all students must register for school bus transportation each year. During registration, we review eligibility to confirm available space and transportation options for your student. Please note that submitting a registration form does not reserve a seat on the bus; it allows our department to plan routes and determine overall service needs.

2026-27 Bus Registration closes at 11:59 PM on April 30. 

If your child is eligible for transportation and you registered before May 1, 2026, you will receive route information in late July. If your child is ineligible, you will be notified as soon as we reach your registration for processing. Information about eligibility can be found in the FAQ section at the bottom of this page.

Late Applications: Registrations submitted after April 30, 2026, including those for new students, will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis for eligible riders on existing routes. Registrations are timestamped and processed in the order they are received. Families who registered on or after May 1, 2026 will be notified at the beginning of September if a route becomes available for them. If your family is not assigned a route, you will be placed on a waitlist, and the Transportation Department will contact you if a space becomes available.
