- Pacific Centre, 478-8357. Regarding costs, this service provides a sliding scale.
- Employee Assistance Programs (EAP). Some parents may not realize they can receive this program through their place of employment.
- Western Communities Mental Health, 391-2223. This is a free service for families. There is often a waitlist. Referrals usually involve a mental health component.

Military Families Resource Centre – MFRC
There are two locations:

MFRC provides a range of programs and services specially tailored to meet the unique lifestyle needs of military families, such as, deployment information and support, welcome packages, parent education, various child care services, short term intervention and crisis support, and employment counselling.
