-A notice/consent form will be going home with your Elementary School child this week in regards to Elementary Beach Day on Monday, June 25th. Please take a moment to read over the information on the parent letter and then sign the permission form on the reverse. You only need to send back the permission section, you can keep the rest of the form as it shows the itinerary, safety guidelines and what your child will need for the day.

-At this time of year when the weather is so nice, many teachers will take advantage of the blue sky and take their class outside at the end of the day. This makes it very difficult for the office to get messages to your student if plans are not made at the beginning of the day. We understand that things happen and messages are needed, but if at all possible make plans with your student before the school day begins.

-It is suggested that if at all possible, not to send your student in flip flops as we are getting many scraped toes and slivers from the wood chips. As well, please send your student with sunscreen on and water bottles, and remind them to drink lots of water throughout the day. The teachers will do so as well.

-If your child will not be attending John Stubbs in September 2018, can you please let the office staff know. You can either call 250-478-5571 or email us at johnstubbs@sd62.bc.ca.
