We’ve been receiving calls about PEN’s (Personal Education Number) and just wanted to clarify that parents do not need PEN’s to sign their child up for school bussing. All they need to do is:
- Create an account (You do not need to sign a consent form for this)
- Click on the “Items” tab
- If their children are already attached, they select the “School District #62 (Sooke)” tab and choose the 2018/2019 School Bus Registration form.
Parents must receive a confirmation email into their email (check trash/junk) to know that you have successfully registered. If you don’t receive the email then something didn’t work.
FYI: Our District is setting up School Cash Online in various schools over the summer so you will eventually need your child’s PEN for paying school fees such as athletic, yearbook, locker, etc. If your child is in Middle School you can find their PEN on the top left hand corner of their report card. If your child is in Elementary School you will need to call the office for their PEN.
